More about Nomi Network
No commentsNomi Network aims to leverage the marketplace, film, and fashion to eradicate sexual slavery. Nomi Network empowers and protects individuals at-risk for sex trafficking in Cambodia by creating job and educational opportunities that will provide positive alternatives to remaining in, or entering the sex trade.
These job opportunities allow trafficking survivors to become skilled in product production, linking them to Nomi’s design team to develop chic and modern fair-trade products. Consumers then raise awareness for issues of sex trafficking by purchasing these products, with the proceeds supporting Nomi Network’s educational and training initiatives for survivors.

SUPER BOWL PARTY AT ANNA AND JAMES’S
OK… so the New York Giants didn’t make it this year… so it might not be as exciting as last year. This year it’s the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals in the big game. Kickoff is at 6PM (but come as early as 5 if you want to help cook). The halftime show will feature Bruce Springsteen. There’s only an hour of actual playing time, but the game will probably last over 3 hours with time-outs, halftime, commercials, etc.
You don’t need to be a football fan to come… watching the game is optional. In fact, many years the commercials are more exciting than the football. (Last year was an exception, however, with the Giant’s amazing win over the Patriots.)
FOOD/DRINKS: Superbowl Sunday is known for it’s artery clogging foods. I’ll be making pot stickers (fried dumplings), fried chicken wings, and sushi. When you come, please bring something to share? Again, it helps us if you RSVP so we can prepare enough food.
