GCF Protestant Praise night (9/1)!!!

That’s right, we’re kicking off the new academic year with worship and praise of the God who has brought us here to NYU and equipped us for every good work.  Things will be kicking off at 4pm this Thursday (9/1) in Kimmel Student Center, 60 Washington Square South, Room 914, where there will be a chance to meet new friends from the graduate Christian community as well as campus ministers and local pastors while worshiping with an awesome South Asian praise band!  The event ends at 6pm but the fun doesn’t have to end there: join us for coffee/food after the event.  We can’t wait to meet you!

All are welcome at this event regardless of religious or non-religious affiliation.  Please feel free to bring any questions you may have about what being Christian as a graduate student (or in general) is all about, and please bring your friends!

God bless,

Tommy Gimbel, GCF Chapter President (tommy.gimbel@gmail.com)

Welcome new graduate students!!!

To all new graduate students visiting this website for the first time, welcome to NYU!!!  We hope that your transition has been pleasant so far and that you are excited to embark on a successful and brilliant first year of grad school.  On behalf of GCF I would like to invite you to browse our site (under construction!) and to get involved with our events!  The best way to get involved is to join our google group (NYU Grad Small Group) so you can receive announcements about weekly small group Bible studies and other events.  You can also check us out on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/NYU-InterVarsity-Graduate-Christian-Fellowship/147745681913481)!  I look forward to meeting you in a few weeks!

Check this site out after 8/27 for more information on upcoming events.  If you have any questions, please feel free to send me an email at tommy.gimbel@gmail.com.

God bless,

Tommy
